(Here rests the bones and ashes of John Jermy of Bayfield in the County of Norfolk, armiger, descended from Sir John Jermy, miles, and Margaret his wife, a daughter and co-heir of Roger Bigot, Duke of Norfolk and Earl Marshall of England at the time of Ed II King of England. This John Jermy of Bayfield married Jane daughter of John Chare of Wandsworth in the County of Surrey, arminger, with whom married 58 happy years. Their children John, Alice and William. John died 18 day of December 1735 in the 83 year of his age.)
