To the Editor of The Times
In the report of this case and in the articles thereon in The Times respectively on the 6th and 7th inst. there is a slight error which I should be glad to correct. The article states, "After the murder of Mr Jermy and his son, the heir of the Jermy estates, was a girl, age 13, the daughter of the younger victim. After growing to womanhood and marrying, that owner of the estate died also, 'leaving a daughter', who is still under age." The words should be, 'leaving a son.' The present infant heir of the Jermy estates is a boy.
I am your obedient servant,
One of the trustees of the Jermy estates
